Enhancing safety for all users, maximising functionality of the intersection and improving sustainability was a focus of the design development group in developing the refined concept design, released in March 2007 for public comment. Here you can view a summary of the feedback recieved.
The final concept design is expected to be available in September 2007.

Ongoing project planning work will continue to be undertaken over the next one to two years. The department anticipates, at this stage, that construction works will not start on this project for at least another three years.
