The role of the Office of Major Projects and Infrastructure is to make sure a planned, coordinated and strategic approach enhances the capacity of the State's infrastructure to provide economic and social services to the South Australian Community. The Office of Major Projects and Infrastructure played the lead role in developing the 'Strategic Infrastructure Plan for South Australia' that was released in May 2005. The office facilitates the implementation of the plan through new approaches to planning and delivering infrastructure projects.
